I just looked at the SCO
Source web site and I am scared!
See, I am scared:

I have an idea!

I'll get a SCO license!... Only $199, what a bargain! Watch
out Microsoft!!!

Hmm, these tactics seem familiar, let me look something up...

Yeah, that's it, extortion
But what if I wait, what if they are right?
I'll get a license to be safe - I'll write them a letter
too!

I hope they accept my offer!
Let see, I'll need an envelope too...

Now I'll be in full compliance! I feel so happy!

Thank you SCO executives! I hope you are able to sell MANY shares
of stock today!!!
---
The End.
Note: This idea was not originally mine, a friend on IRC suggested it,
and I couldn't resist...
--------------------------- My letter to SCO, accompanied by $199
in Monopoly money.
Dear SCO,
I looked up a term this evening and felt that it applied perfectly to
your company! Here is the term:
extortion
\Ex*tor"tion\, n. [F.
extorsion.] 1. The
act of extorting; the act or
practice of wresting anything from a person by force, by threats, or
by
any undue exercise of power; undue exaction; overcharge.
Your company is threatening an entire community of users – millions of
them, while your executives are dumping stock and making
millions.
You have shown NO proof to anyone other than the poor souls who
sign away their life (your NDA). I feel sorry for the actual
workers in your company who will soon be out of jobs when your company
folds, while your executives laugh their way to the bank.
I am hereby sending $199 in worthless money in request for one of
your worthless licenses.
Please send my license to:
